Mozart is resurrected!

Philippe Chevallier, from the famous comedy duo Chevallier & Laspalès, mischievously tells and comments on the learned and poetic words of philosopher Fabrice Hadjadj. Playing the role of a disillusioned dandy who at first swears by pessimism and darkness, he recounts his conversion to the most youthful joy he finds in the music of the child prodigy. And what if the grace and gentleness of the Austrian genius were merely a prefiguration of the happiness that awaits us in Paradise?

Accompanied by the musicians of the Trio Bagatelle, the interaction between music and text by Fabrice Hadjadj comes to life through the most emblematic works of Mozart’s happiness: Une petite musique de nuit, Sonate facile, “Ah vous dirais-je Maman”… The musicians also perform arias to be discovered as well as a major work of Mozart’s chamber music in its entirety, which we’ll let you discover!

“And then suddenly, an elusive elation transcends the grid of chords and makes us hear, in the simplest melody, something like the creation of the world.” (excerpt from Fabrice Hadjadj’s text)

With three musicians: piano, violin and cello
