International Documentary Festival

Saturday 30 and Sunday 31 May 2026

CONFERENCES / DEBATES / AWARDS

The first edition of the International Documentary Festival opens its doors, offering a unique space for discovery, reflection and exchange around documentary cinema. This edition explores four major themes that shape our world: Animals, Humans, Nature, Society and Innovation.

Through a demanding selection of works from the four corners of the globe, the festival invites audiences to immerse themselves in diverse realities and question the links that unite all forms of life. From sensitive narratives and committed investigations to captivating portraits, each film offers a unique perspective on our times and the contemporary issues affecting our planet and its inhabitants.

A unique opportunity to celebrate the richness of the genre and to share human and sensitive experiences around subjects that concern us all.

We’ll also be welcoming professionals who will be with us in Lozère, and perhaps inspiring them to shoot films in our department.

The festival’s nominees will receive various prizes. The audience will also give its opinion at the end of each session, to ensure fairness in the awarding of prizes.
